A MUST TRAVEL SPOT #1: ANTARCTICA (CBIOxTRAVEL)

Hello lovelies, this is going to be my first travel post. I will be unraveling different travel spots in this category so sit back and let me be your travel tour guide (lol). Antarctica had to be my first travel spot because of its awe-inspiring nature. Let’s begin!!

A few months ago, a friend of mine posted a news article with the title “Chicago will be colder than Antarctica this week” on Instagram Stories. To satisfy my curiosity, I decided to do some research on Antarctica and to my utmost surprise, I found some interesting facts about it. Let the spilling begin!!

Interesting facts about Antarctica

  • It is a continent, with no countries in it. When I read it, I was like wow, how come?? Well we will get to know the reason behind it soon…

  • The reason for point one is that, no one stays there, yeah you read that right! People only go there for scientific and tourism purposes only. It has no towns or cities, commercial industries. In summary, it has no permanent residents.

  • Do you know why people don’t stay there?? Well, the reason is that, Antarctica is the most coldest continent on earth. There is always snow and ice glacier over there and it rarely melts. When I read this, I was like wow, over here in Canada, I feel it is the coldest country, but then there is a place that is even more cold? WOW!

  • It is the most driest and windiest continent.

  • Summer begins from October to February and winter begins from March to September. I am just imagining how the summer is like over there!

  • The emblem of Antarctica is white due to the continent’s snowy and icy nature.

  • There is no developed public access airport. You can get there through sailing or flying though.

  • It costs a lot of money to go there, so if you will like to visit, you’ve got to start saving now.

  • Now, this is the most beautiful and intriguing fact about Antarctica for me; animals such as nematodes, whales, seals, mites, penguins etc are found in Antarctica. See the beautiful picture below and judge for yourself. God’s creation is so marvelousss!!

7 But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; 8 or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you. 9 Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this?
— Job 12: 7-9 (NIV)

Antarctica makes me jump for joy. God is full of power and strength. God really intentionally made this beautiful continent to be this way, He is not unaware of how it appears. Lovelies, is there anything that you want God to do for you? Trust in Him always because His creation speaks of what He is capable of doing in your life. I hope you have been encouraged by this post and is a reminder to always admire His beautiful creation.

Which next travel spot do you think I will be writing about?? I will leave a clue here; it starts with the letter “N”. Start thinking, 4,3,2,1… GO!!

I will see you in my next post!

Have a blessed week.

With Love,
